The Wharton Success Skills Program

What is the program?

The Wharton Success Skills Program is a fall semester program that will help you build your professional skills, offered at no charge to you.

Who can participate?

All first- and second-year students at Rutgers University-Newark will be enrolled in the program so long as they create an account on the Rutgers University-Newark app by September 23, 2022.

What do I need to do?

You’ll watch several short (~2 minute) skill-building videos and complete activities through the Rutgers University – Newark app during the program. This program requires, at most, 30 minutes of your time each week.

What will I get for participating?

You’ll earn a certificate from the Wharton School for completing the program requirements. After completion, you can include the certificate on your resumé and share it with future employers. 

You’ll also get points as you progress, which you can convert to an online gift card worth $100 or $50 in Raider dollars if you win a lottery.

Will I be charged for the program?

No. This program is absolutely free.

What else do I need to know?

As part of your participation in this program, deidentified data from your school records will be shared with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania for program evaluation.
